Synopsis:

Media organizations around the world are trying to grapple with the pace of innovation online. Manorama Online promises to be the convergence hub of Malayala Manorama and all its wings in the digital age. The internet edition of the newspaper Malayala Manorama was started in 1997. It is built using the broadvision tool. MM online is now switching to the Adobe CQ5 AEM implementation. It has a number of news channels which would be built using CQ5

Role:

Ø                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     I was in the project since its beginning and was involved in the all the phases of the project from POC development to the actual implementation.

Ø                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Part of daily scrum meetings with the client for requirement gathering, development, testing, UAT, etc.

Synopsis: RPX is a T-Mobile platform designed to support the prepaid customers with billing, activation and other Features. RPX leverages standard Java, and SOA implementations combined with widely-adopted open-source technologies to provide reliable, scalable and easy to maintain services.

Role:

Ø                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Worked in an onsite-offshore model communicating with the onsite co-ordinator on a daily basis

Ø                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Was part of developing a webservice that would handle the SOAP request for multiple subscriber activation for a given rate plan.

Ø                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     JPDL was used to manage the workflow. After activating the subscribers, various other sub-systems were notified using Mule bus.

Ø                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Worked on bug fixes/change requests in various modules like subscriber activation, subscriber queries, coupon refills, direct payments, rate plan changes and balance adjustments.

The software profitably manages the complex, ever-changing requirements of physical and financial markets.  It integrates front-to-back office and meets the requirements for supply, trading, marketing, procurement, logistics, freight operations, scheduling, risk management and accounting in today’s volatile and complex environment.

Role:

Ø      Was involved in reviewing the functional specification, coding, unit testing, bug fixing and creating technical documentation.

Ø      Worked on various enhancements in the modules like trade capture, invoice generation, capturing the trade from exchanges, running the General Ledger (GL) events, etc.

Ø      Worked on various design patterns and project specific frameworks.
